HER KOMMER DET EN VELDIG KORT TEKST TIL MATERIALET SOM PRESENTERES UNDER

About 20% of the wood is extracted as oligosaccharides from Hemicellulose
About 30% of the wood is extracted as monosaccharides from Cellulose and Hemicellulose
About 50% is a pulp with low ash content and high energy density
Introduction to Wood Raw Materials
Her kommer en liten innføring i foredling av skog. Jeg skal gjøre litt research på området...

LOGWOOD
Sawlogs are the logs of size and quality that are suitable for sawmills, with the highest prices.PULPWOOD
Pulpwood (logs) are too small, or of too low quality, to be sawlogs. Mainly raw material for the Pulp & Paper industry. Significantly lower priced than sawlogs. In South East USA also used as raw material for pellets.WOODCHIPS
Woodchips from sawmills are also suitable raw material for the Pulp & Paper Industry. Usually priced at the same level as pulpwood logs, or slightly lower.Pulpwood (logs) are too small, or of too low quality, to be sawlogs. Mainly raw material for the Pulp & Paper industry. Sawdust from sawmills cannot be used by Pulp & Paper Industry, but is used for making boards and pellets. In most of the world much lowered priced than woodchips and pulpwood.
Energy wood (logs), which is of a quality not suitable for pellets or boards, but used as fuel. This is also lower priced than woodchips and pulpwood.
